Bird Closet’s 2018 activity culminated in a self-titled solo exhibition at Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Schnormeier Gallery in Mount Vernon, OH. Bird Closet participants collectively curated and installed the exhibition, which documented the possibility-rich Bird Closet universe and the collective’s ephemeral interventions in Bethel through collages, bird masks, zines, and the remnants of the three billboards.
